Limonillo comes from Gagliano Marcati, the Veronese liquor house founded in 1919 by brothers Pietro and Luigi Marcati — born in a pharmacist's laboratory and run today by the third generation of the family. It is their zero-alcohol answer to limoncello: water, sugar and lemon extract with natural lemon flavouring.

Opaque pastel yellow in the glass, sunny and candied on the nose, sweet and citrus-sharp in the mouth with a clean finish. The label's own serve: one part Limonillo, two parts tonic water, plenty of ice.

Shake before use. Once opened, store in the fridge and consume within 3 weeks.
