Taralli 'nzogna e pepe are the savoury rings of Neapolitan baking: soft wheat dough worked with lard, studded with whole almonds and finished with a generous grind of black pepper.
Baked at Cardito, just north of Naples. 500 g per pack.
They are an aperitivo staple, served on their own or with a cold beer. Contains almonds.
