Extra virgin olive oil produced by Romano Vincenzo in Bronte, on the slopes of Mount Etna (Sicily, Italy), where the Romano family has run its mill since 1959, now in its third generation.

A Monte Etna PDO oil, made from Nocellara dell'Etna olives grown between 600 and 800 metres on the volcanic slopes of the mountain. The olives are hand-picked early with combs and cold-extracted on the same day. The result is a bright oil with intense green tones, a fresh nose of just-cut grass, and a bitter-and-spicy taste with the tomato aftertaste typical of Etna oils.

Production Method

Nocellara dell'Etna olives grown on the slopes of Mount Etna (600–800 m), hand-harvested early with combs and cold-extracted (two-phase) on the same day, using mechanical methods only.

How to use it

Best used raw, on Mediterranean dishes: bruschetta, grilled vegetables, legume soups, fish and white meats.

Storage Information

Keep in a cool, dark place away from heat sources.
