A naturally leavened panettone with a Limoncello syrup filling at 15% of the cake, on a dough carrying 4% Sicilian lemon paste made from ground peel. The syrup is where both the citrus and the spirit come from; the colour is curcumin.
One kilogram, roughly twelve slices of 80 g, in a tin box. Seven months of shelf life in the sealed packaging.
Alcohol content 3.37% — noticeably higher than the other panettoni in this range. Worth knowing before serving it to children, to anyone avoiding alcohol, or before driving.
Storage Information
Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and sources of heat.
Ingredients
WHEAT flour, Limoncello syrup filling 15% (glucose syrup, Limoncello syrup 32% (natural flavours, colour: curcumin), natural flavour), barn EGGS, sugar, natural yeast (WHEAT flour, water), BUTTER, Sicilian lemon paste 4% (ground Sicilian lemon peel, glucose-fructose syrup, sucrose, concentrated lemon juice), emulsifiers: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids of vegetable origin, citron paste (citron peel, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, acidity regulator: citric acid), whole MILK, glucose syrup, barn EGG yolk, salt, skimmed MILK powder, natural flavours - ALLERGENS: EGGS, MILK, WHEAT (gluten). May contain ALMONDS, HAZELNUTS, PISTACHIOS and SOY.
