A Sicilia Monte Etna DOP extra virgin olive oil by Romano Vincenzo, the Sicilian family mill in Bronte since 1959, presented in a sculpted "Testa di Moro" glass bottle.

Inside is the Sicilia Monte Etna DOP oil: a blend of native Sicilian varieties, Nocellara dell'Etna and Nocellara del Belice, hand-picked and cold-extracted. Medium fruity and well balanced, with notes of artichoke and almond, a clean bitterness and a tomato aftertaste. The PGI status is certified by an inspection body authorised by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture.

The bottle reinterprets the Testa di Moro, one of the great symbols of Sicilian craft: the crowned head, Moorish in origin, that appears in the windows and courtyards of Caltagirone, Palermo and Taormina. Traditionally shaped in ceramic by the island's master potters, here it is moulded in glass as an object to display and keep.
Production Method

A blend of native Sicilian olives, hand-harvested with combs and cold-extracted, using mechanical methods only. Sicilia PGI certified.
How to use it

Best used raw, on Mediterranean dishes: bruschetta, grilled vegetables, legume soups, fish and white meats.
Storage Information

Keep in a cool, dark place away from heat sources.
