The alcohol-free expression of one of Italy's great amari. Amaro Lucano was born in 1894 in the back room of Cavaliere Pasquale Vena's biscuit workshop in Pisticci, Basilicata, and the Vena family still runs the house today. Lucano Amaro Zero brings the same world of bitter herbs to a drink with no alcohol at all.

Delicately orange-amber in the glass, it opens on a Mediterranean bouquet — myrtle, rosemary, citrus and chamomile — and closes on a gently bitter, clean finish. Made for the alcohol-free aperitivo and for mixing: it takes tonic and soda well. Awarded a silver medal with 94 points as an Alternative Drink at the IWSC 2023.

Gluten free. Serve chilled. Once opened, refrigerate and consume preferably within 2 years of the production date shown on the bottle.

Dark mahogany-amber in the glass. The nose is all bitter herbs — roots and caramelised sugar with a balsamic edge. On the palate it opens sweet, then the herbal bitterness takes over cleanly, closing on a long, dry, typically amaro finish — without the warmth of alcohol.
