1.5 litres of Coratina olive oil in a bag-in-box: a cardboard outer and a sealed inner pouch that collapses as the oil is drawn off, so nothing moves in to take its place.

That is the entire point of the format. A bottle lets air in every time it is opened; a bag-in-box does not, and the box keeps out light on top of that. It is the packaging you choose when a container will stay open for weeks.

Milled and bottled by the Lamantea family in Bisceglie, on the Adriatic side of Puglia. Single-variety Coratina, in the size you buy when olive oil is something you use every day rather than something you save.
