Mosaico - Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tin

100 ml of Coratina olive oil in a steel tin, milled and bottled by the Lamantea family in Bisceglie, on the Adriatic side of Puglia.

Steel keeps light out completely. Oil in clear glass fades on a lit shelf; in a tin it doesn't — which matters most at small sizes, the ones that sit around waiting to be finished.

This is a tasting format and a gift format at the same time: enough to dress a handful of dishes, small enough to travel or to go inside a hamper. Four decorations — Tiffany, Mosaico, Scacchi, Uncinetto — hold the same oil.
