Created in 1963 and named after the Blue Riband won by the transatlantic liner Rex, Nastro Azzurro is the premium end of the Peroni range and the Italian lager most widely found abroad, sold in more than 70 countries.

It is brewed with Mais Nostrano®, an Italian maize variety grown exclusively for Peroni, which gives the beer its crisp, slightly citrus edge and very dry finish.
